Wonderful * * * * * Left on 05/23/2011 for a stay in May 2011What a great place this is to spend a week's vacation. There were four of us, all adult, and we found everything we needed at this home. There are two great restaurants, Hemingways and augusto's at Seaquarium, which are a couple of minutes walk. Our friends took advantage of the shore diving and I snorkeled in the lagoon. We took a tour all around the island, and ate at a great place called Janchies, somewhere near Westpunt I think. Make sure you go to Boca Tabla, unbelievable view if the sea is not too rough to get down into the cave. The history of this island is really great. We spent a lot of time just walking around Willemstad visiting the attractions and shopping in the many stores. Note to americans: Most stores do not open on Sunday and if they are open it is after 12 noon. There is a shuttle to the grocery store twice a day and I advise you take this free bus as the store is large, clean and has everything you need. We will remember this trip for a long time to come. We will be back.cbusbadger Columbus, OH, USA Wonderful Vacation Home * * * * * Left on 01/19/2011 for a stay in December 2010We stayed at the Mambo Beach Townhouse for a famiily vacation over Christmas. We had a total of 5 adults and were very happy with the amount of space we had. The townhouse was very clean and well maintained. We ate all of our homemade meals on the beautiful covered terrace. The private beach was very convienent and great for snorkeling, there's even a small coral reef with plenty of fish. A free shuttle to the grocery store runs every week day and saturdays at 9am and picks people up at the Lions Dive resort and at the Sea aquarium security stand. We used Ocean Encounters for our scuba diving needs. They are located just a short walk down the hill and are a very well equiped and well run organization with free lockers to keep all of your equipment for up to a week. We were even able to book a deep sea fishing trip through them. For the evenings that we didn't feel like cooking we took a short stroll down to Hemmingways (Lions Dive Resort) or agustos (Sea aquarium Resort) both of which we highly recommend. Overall we found that the townhouse was clean, beautiful, and relaxing. It was quiet and private when we just wanted to stay to ourselves, but when we wanted to have a little more action it was just a quick walk to restaurants and the parties on Mambo BeachLooking for Paradise and we found it. * * * * * San Diego, Calfornia, USA The most relaxing place that we have been Left on 06/22/2010 for a stay in June 2010Beautiful home with everything you could want. Private beach was perfect as were the waters. We enjoyed being right where everything was happening but yet we had the privacy of being in our own home. The choice of restaurants, just a short walk away, made every night a different experience. The sunsets were breath taking. My husband so enjoyed swimming with the dolphins. We have rented many places around the world. The owners made the process of renting easy and we felt comfortable in their hands.
